Part of the family

Here's part of our family, our kelpie dogs. Pups are available for sale.

Temprement of a kelpie dog.

Kelpies are loyal, friendly, intelligent, energetic dogs that require a challenging job to be satisfactory companions. They need to be stimulated, as idle and bored dogs become frustrated, noisy, and destructive.[citation needed] With personalised love and attention, they can be very placid and faithful, although they do need space to run. For the show or bench Kelpie, walks and socialisation may be sufficient to keep them happy. A working bred Kelpie must have a job to do and plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to remain healthy and companionable. A Kelpie is not aggressive towards people and cannot be considered a guard dog, though he will certainly bark when necessary. Working Kelpies may nip when working stock and should be taught early not to do so to humans.

Here is Rookie and Chloe,

Rookie is my tan and fawn kelpie bitch, I 1st laid eyes on her at Renbury farm (pound) and had to buy her. She is a very loyal dog shes about 1yr old. Sadly she is desexed. She is much loved.

Chloe red and tan 1yr old bitch and was given to us by a family that couldnt keep her in a backyard because she got so bored and ran laps, we have given her to a one on one family where she will now live her days, very loyal loving dog.

Annie is a blue kelpie and a new member of our family, we drove to wagga wagga to pick her up in 2011 Jan, she is 4mths old and still learning our ways of disciplin etc.. She is a lovely shy bitch, we will hopefully get a lovely litter of pups out of her. She does work on sheep very well.
